Finding text in the output window in NetBeans

The output window of NetBeans contains the output of several processes in NetBeans. For example if we run Tomcat from NetBeans the output of Tomcat is displayed in the output window. To find information in the output window can become cumbersome when there is a lot of information available.

We can search in the output window by right-clicking with the mouse and selecting the Find... option or using the shortcut Ctrl+F (in Windows). A new dialog window is opened and we can type the text we want to find. NetBeans will search in the output window for the text and highlight the text if it is found.
