So many things I want to do, but so little time... Lately I have been reading a lot on the web about programming for the Web. I was used to the simple request/reponse HTTP model, the simple HTML pages to interact with the user, but that didn't work anymore. People want more responsive user interfaces. They know have new reference applications like GMail and GoogleMaps. These applications run in the web browser but feel fast and responsive. To keep up-to-date I started reading about GRails, Groovy, Adobe Flex, AJAX and much more. Now my head is almost exploding and it is time to make some choices. In the next couple of weeks I will post about the things I noticed and liked about the different solutions and let's see what comes out.
